McNamara recently had a recording session in Los Angeles with Ron Dante of "Sugar, Sugar" fame. In addition to being lead singer for The Archies, Ron is also a world-renowned
music producer; his production credits include recordings with Barry Manilow, Pat Benatar, Cher, and others. Ron has just
produced a remake of Robin's hit "Lay a Little Lovin' On Me," which is due to be released very shortly. With the recent
revival of Hair on Broadway, which Robin appeared in during its original run, and the enormous success of the musical
40 years after its debut, Ron felt it was time to join forces for a whole new recording of "Lay a Little Lovin' On Me" 40
years after.

Robin
states, "It was a joy working in the studio with Ron, who not only knows me musically inside and out but is a master
of his craft in finding the right sound and feel for what he is looking for. I also had a ball working with Ted Perlman, a hugely talented musician and recording engineer who is also a master of his craft. Both Ron and Ted couldn't have
made me feel any more comfortable. I do hope this is the first of many projects working with these wonderfully talented people."
