Do the Time Warp...
In September 2004,
I had a big laugh at Robin's expense. He was visiting at my home, and without telling him what I was doing, I nonchalantly
popped a video into the VCR. Unbeknownst to Robin, the tape was that of a compilation of bubblegum music videos from
the 60's and 70's ... and I had cued it to a segment of Robin performing "Lay a Little Lovin' On Me" on a 1970 television
show.
As
shown by these photos, Robin was by turns shocked, amazed, and amused by seeing himself frozen in time - his 23-year-old
self, alive and well thanks to the miracle of modern technology!
