In honor
of the 60th anniversary of Archie Comics, July 27 and 28 of 2002 was set aside by the City of Los Angeles as Archie and Friends
Weekend. As part of the weekend festivities, Ron Dante made a special appearance at Pinks Hot Dogs to sing and sign
autographs. Appearing with Ron was the original "I'm gonna make your life so sweet" candy girl, Toni Wine! This was the first time Ron and Toni ever appeared together as The
Archies, and we have some never-before-seen pix right here!
